Booking a flight with an infant

Babies under 2 years old are considered Infants.

They can either travel on your lap or have their own seat (additional fees may apply).
Note that infants below 8 days old will not be accepted for carriage.
Just add them as an infant when you book a flight!

Additional requirements

If infant is traveling with parent or guardian
- There are no special rules if the child is travelling with a parent or legal guardian.
- However, guardians may be asked to present proof of guardianship (i.e. affidavit of guardianship, certificate of guardianship).

If infant is traveling WITHOUT their parent or guardian
- International travel
  - If minor is a Filipino Citizen, companion must apply for a DSWD Travel Clearance.
  - If minor is a Foreign Citizen, companion must apply for a Waiver of Exclusion Ground from the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
- Domestic travel
  - There are no additional requirements for infants traveling without their parents or legal guardian.
  - However, if the child is traveling from Davao, kindly view the "Special guidelines for minors traveling to/from Davao" section below.

Documents for Check-in
- Kindly present the infant's passport and/or birth certificate during check-in.
