SUBJECT               :               Guidelines for AirSWIFT System Downtime on 23 March 2025

Please be advised that there will be a scheduled Videcom downtime from 1800H of 23 March to 0600H of 24 March 2025, which will have an impact on the following applications and functionalities:

  • Videcom - Initial Booking (IB), Manage Booking (MB), Check-in (CI)
  • Reservations and Ticketing (for new bookings and change flight options or manage booking)
  • Travel Agent Portal

Guests who need to book flights departing during the system downtime can only be accommodated at the airport stations on a Go Show basis. In this regard, please note the following guidelines:

  1. All Go Shows will be charged Y class fares (except for MNL-ENI which will be charged at U class) and applicable fees and taxes.
  2. All Go Shows will be limited to travel from the origin airport (e.g., if the guest is at NAIA Terminal 2, then the guest can only purchase flights from Manila, and NOT from other stations, etc.).
  3. All other flights not departing during the downtime will be bookable and manageable on all channels upon resumption of the system or starting 0600H of 24 March 2025.

Guests who will not be able to access Manage Booking during the Videcom downtime will have the following customer options:

Scenario

·         Purchase a new ticket based on go Show handling.

·         Original tickets can be stored in a Travel Fund or can be refunded, including all ancillaries.

·         Allowed to travel but bookings should be ticketed or issued prior migration.

Guests who want to purchase ancillaries/add-ons

Further, during the system downtime, guests who are booking flights or trying to manage existing bookings (i.e., rebooking, purchasing add-ons) will be asked to try again once the system is up and running. AirSWIFT will communicate the downtime through a travel advisory on the website and emails (for travel partners and affected guests). Customer-facing teams to be provided with FAQs and spiels to explain the system downtime and options available to guests.

Please be guided accordingly.
