Update on Travel Fund Redemption

Starting November 10, 2026 (11AM Philippine Time), the Travel Fund owner must be included as one of the passengers in the booking or itinerary where the Travel Fund is used.

You may still use your Travel Fund for a booking that includes family members, friends, or other passengers, as long as you are also included as a passenger.

We continuously review our products and services to strengthen how Travel Fund ownership and use are managed.

We understand that this change may affect customers who use their Travel Fund to book for family and friends. This is why we’re giving customers advance notice and time to use their Travel Fund under the current rules before the change takes effect on November 10, 2026.

If the Travel Fund is linked to a MyCebuPacific account, the Travel Fund owner is the name registered in the MyCebuPacific account.

If the Travel Fund is linked through a booking reference outside MyCebuPacific account, the Travel Fund owner must be at least one of the original passengers.

Yes, provided that you, as the Travel Fund owner, are also included as one of the passengers in the booking or itinerary.

Yes. You can use your Travel Fund for eligible add-ons as long as you, as the Travel Fund owner, are included in the booking or itinerary.

Yes. The new usage rule will apply starting November 10, 2026, including to existing Travel Funds.

No. Your Travel Fund will remain valid and non-expiring. However, starting November 10, 2026, the Travel Fund owner must be included in the booking or itinerary when using the Travel Fund.

No. Bookings made before November 10, 2026 are not affected by this change. However, using Travel Fund to buy add-ons for previously booked flights without the fund owner may be restricted.
