Description


🧳 General Guidelines


The policies below apply to checked baggage only.

  • If you lost/left items in the aircraft:
    • Immediately report it to any Cebu Pacific ground staff,
    • or chat with Charlie via our app or website to connect with a Live Agent who can help.
  • If you lost items at the airport,

If your checked baggage was damaged, or did not arrive at your destination airport:

  • Do not leave the airport;
  • Immediately report it to any Cebu Pacific ground staff;
  • Our staff will assist you in filing a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).

If you've already left the airport, please chat with Charlie via app or website to connect with a Live Agent who can help.

 


🩹 Damaged Baggage


If your checked baggage arrived with a cracked surface or missing handle and/or wheels:

  • We will assess if the damage exceeds regular wear and tear;
  • If so, we will provide compensation based on Philippine Air Passenger Bill of Rights or the Montreal Convention.

 


🛅 Missing / Delayed Baggage


If your checked baggage did not arrive with you at the destination airport, please report it immediately.

While we locate your baggage, we will also provide you with the following delay compensation:

  • 💵 Php2,000 for every 24 hours of delay
  • 💳 Refund of baggage fees if the checked baggage is not delivered within 24 hours
  • 👚 First Need compensation if the passenger is not a resident at the destination

We will notify you of the total compensation within 7 days of reporting.

 


🔍 Lost Baggage


If your checked baggage isn't found within 7 days of your arrival, we will consider your baggage lost. 

We will compensate you with the value of the lost baggage, along with the delay compensation mentioned above.
