✈️ Airport Baggage Allowance

To avoid high airport baggage fees, we highly suggest pre-purchasing CEB Baggage ahead of time. Learn more here:

 

You will be charged an airport baggage fee if:

  • You didn't buy your baggage allowance online;
  • You exceed the maximum number of checked baggage pieces;
  • Your checked baggage exceeds the maximum size restrictions.

To avoid this fee, make sure:

  • You purchased enough of the right type of allowance;
  • Your baggage does not exceed the maximum dimensions;
  • You only bring the indicated maximum number of baggage pieces.

General Guidelines:

  • 🛄 Airport baggage allowance is limited to 20kg;
    • 💡 Any excess weight will be charged per kilo, based on the Excess Baggage Fee guidelines.

  • 🪙 The price of the Airport Baggage fee depends on the date of the booking and is based on regulatory guidelines.
    • Approach our airport counters to check the applicable fee for your flight.

  • 👥 If you are traveling in a group, you can make use of our Baggage Pooling policies to combine your total allowance. Learn more here:

⚠️ Excess Baggage Fee

To avoid high airport baggage fees, we highly suggest pre-purchasing CEB Baggage ahead of time. Learn more here:

 

Any excess weight beyond your baggage allowance incurs an Excess Baggage Fee.

  • The Excess Baggage fee is charged per excess kilo.
    • For example, if you purchased 20kg allowance, but check in a 23kg bag, you will be charged for the excess 3kg.

To avoid this fee, make sure:

  • You purchased enough of the right type of allowance;
  • Your baggage does not exceed the maximum weight allowance;

  • 🛄 The maximum weight per baggage piece is 32kg.
  • 🪙 The price of the Excess Baggage fee depends on the date of the booking and is based on regulatory guidelines.

👜 Gate Baggage Fee

Gate Baggage Fee is a fee charged to guests who exceed their hand-carry allowance (including exceptions).
