CEB Baggage Guidelines and Upgrade Options

Add more baggage or upgrade your baggage allowance with our CEB Baggage and CEB Special Baggage add-ons. It's available through Manage Booking up to two hours before your flight.

🧳 Checked baggage allowance

Checked baggage allowance is only included in our GO Easy and GO Flexi fare bundles:

For every 20kg of prepaid baggage allowance, you are entitled to bring one (1) piece of checked baggage.

Baggage allowance upgrade

If you need to increase the weight of your 20kg checked baggage:
- You may upgrade by 4kg, 8kg, or up to 12kg.
- ❗️ Upgrading the weight does not change the number of pieces allowed.

Purchasing extra pieces of baggage

If you need to purchase more pieces of checked baggage:
- You can purchase up to a maximum of three (3) pieces via our mobile app or website.
- Each piece has a base weight of 20kg.
If you need more than three pieces, additional baggage can be purchased at the airport, for a fee.

Purchasing large or specialized items

Your checked baggage allowance cannot be used for sports equipment, musical instruments, or other special items.
With this, please purchase CEB Special Baggage separately through the Cebu Pacific mobile app.

👜 Hand carry allowance

You may bring:

One (1) hand carry item that fits in the overhead bin (within 56cm x 36cm x 23cm) and;
One (1) personal item to store under the seat in front of you (within 20cm x 20cm x 36cm).

The maximum for hand carry bags is two (2) pieces, with a total weight of 7kg.

Following these requirements helps make sure bags can be safely stored in the cabin and allows us to keep boarding smooth and flights moving on time.

As a reminder, please pack only what you can comfortably carry, lift, and stow on your own. This helps keep both you and our staff safe from injuries when handling heavy bags. If you require special assistance, our team will be happy to assist you accordingly.

Some examples of a hand carry item include the following:

Cabin-size trolley/luggage
Backpack or laptop/camera bag
Sling bag, handbag, shoulder bag or small purse
Items purchased inside the airport, including Duty Free Items (DFI), donuts, fruit boxes, etc.
Baby bag, medical-related items or food items not accepted for check-in

How to add baggage

For new bookings

1. Open the Cebu Pacific app and go to Manage Booking.

A MyCebuPacific account is required to make booking changes. Make sure you're logged in to your booking's account.

2. Tap 'Manage' to access your booking.

If you can't locate your booking, you may have to add it to your account.

3. If you're on Desktop:

Click 'Add or upgrade bags' under Customize your trip

If you're on the Mobile App:

Tap 'Manage add-ons' under Modify flight
On the Add-ons page, tap on 'CEB Baggage'.

4. Choose which flight you want to buy baggage for.

If you want to buy baggage for both flights, tap the 'Select for both flights' toggle.

5. Choose if you're buying baggage for all passengers, or per passenger.

6. Tap the 'Add baggage' button to add a baggage piece (max 3)

Each baggage piece has a base allowance of 20kg.

7. Upgrade your baggage allowance as needed.

You have the option to add 4kg, 8kg, or 12kg to each baggage piece.

8. To delete a baggage piece:

On desktop: Click on the trash icon.

On mobile app: Swipe on the baggage piece and tap 'Delete'.

9. After checking your selections for all flights, you can proceed to payment or select more Add-ons.

Common manage booking issues

Here are some common troubleshooting steps you can try:

General troubleshooting

👤 Are you logged in?	You need to log into the MyCebuPacific account of your booking to make changes: Signing up for a MyCebuPacific Account
🔍 Can't find your booking?	You may have to add the booking to your account. Follow these steps: Adding or Linking a Booking to Your Account
🗂️ Do you have a group or travel agency booking?	Please contact your agent / coordinator directly to make changes. Learn more here: Online Travel Agency (OTA) Bookings
✈️ Did you book on an unauthorized third-party platform?	You may have difficulty managing your booking as these platforms may issue booking reference numbers not recognized by our system. If you encounter any issues, please chat with us to connect with a Live Agent who can verify your booking. Learn more here: Online Travel Agency (OTA) Bookings
⌛️ Is it less than 2 hours before your flight?	You cannot make any changes to flights less than two (2) hours away.

🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Are you traveling with a group?

Passengers traveling together can pool their baggage as long as they check in their bags at the same time.

Baggage pooling only applies to checked baggage and does not include hand-carry items.

📝 Take note!

Total Pieces: The combined number of all bags must not exceed the number of pieces you purchased for check-in.
Total Weight: The combined weight of all bags must not exceed the weight you purchased for check-in.
Maximum Pieces: You can purchase up to 3 bags online. If you need more, additional baggage can be purchased at the airport, for a fee.
Maximum Weight: Each checked baggage can weigh up to a maximum of 32kg.
Maximum Dimensions: Each bag must not exceed the size limit of 99cm x 99cm x 99cm (39in x 39in x 39in).
- For oversized baggage, you can purchase our CEB Special Baggage add-on on the Cebu Pacific app.

✅ Example:

There are 2 guests in the same booking.
Each guest purchased 2 checked bags, so the booking allows up to 4 bags total.
Each bag has an allowance of 20kg.
Altogether, the booking allows a combined baggage weight of up to 80kg.

In this scenario, you may share or combine your baggage allowance within the booking, as long as:

You bring no more than 4 bags total.
Each bag may weigh up to 32kg, as long as the combined weight does not exceed the total purchased allowance.
Your combined baggage weight stays within 80kg total.

✈️ Guidelines:

To make use of our baggage pooling policy:
- Make sure you and the people you're traveling with are in the same booking, and that you check in your bags at the same time.
The allowance of guests who are not at the airport bag drop counter will not be part of the pooled weight.
