Can I Bring Medical and Baby Items?

Description

Check if your medical and baby items can be packed in your hand carry, checked baggage, or both.

Items with batteries may have additional restrictions. See the Battery Rules below before packing.

💧 Liquid Limits

  • Liquids in hand carry must be in containers of 100ml or less.
  • If it's more than 100ml, it must be checked in.

👜 Size Limits

  • Hand carry: Up to 56 × 36 × 23 cm
  • Personal item: Up to 20 × 20 × 35 cm
  • Checked baggage: Up to 99 × 99 × 99 cm

🔋 Battery Rules

  • Within hand carry size and battery limits ➡️ Pack this in your hand carry
  • Larger than hand carry size, but within battery limits ➡️ Pack this in your checked baggage
    • ⚠️ Switch off the device completely and protect it from damage.
    • If the battery is removable, it may be carried in hand carry as a spare/loose battery. 
  • Exceeds battery limits, regardless of size ➡️ For CEB Cargo only

Battery limits

  • Lithium-ion: Up to 100 Wh
  • Lithium-metal: Up to 2 g lithium content per cell/battery
  • Non-spillable: Up to 12 V and 100 Wh

Power banks and spare lithium batteries: Hand carry only. Protect battery terminals from short circuit.
