Some items require certificates or permits. Check the Requirements below before packing.

 

Item Baggage Guidelines
Bouquet / flowers  Hand carry or checked baggage • Secure properly • Checked baggage recommended for strong-smelling or allergy-sensitive flowers
Household pet CEB Cargo only
Human ashes  Hand carry only • Secure necessary requirements • Keep in a sealed urn
Human remains CEB Cargo only
Pet ashes Hand carry only • Secure necessary requirements • Keep in a sealed urn
Pet food Hand carry or checked baggage • Destination rules apply
Pet remains CEB Cargo only 
Plants / seedlings  Hand carry only • Secure necessary requirements

 

📂 Requirements:

  • Human ashes
    • Death certificate
    • Cremation certificate
    • Permit to transport, if entering or leaving the Philippines
  • Pet ashes
    • Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) permit
    • Cremation certificate
  • Plants / seedlings
    • Domestic flights: Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) permit
    • International flights: Required government permits for your destination or origin country
