Overview
Description
- CEB Special Baggage is available up to two (2) hours before your flight.
- To add Special Baggage, manage your booking via the Cebu Pacific app.
- A MyCebuPacific account is required to manage your booking. Sign up now!
- ✅ Each passenger is only allowed one (1) CEB Special Baggage with a weight of 20kg.
- However, if a guest brings more than 20kg, they will need to pay an excess baggage fee.
- CEB Special Baggage availability may be limited especially on Cebgo (DG) flights due to limited space.
- In case of flight disruptions, all unused add-ons, including CEB Special Baggage, may be refunded or stored in a Travel Fund.

Types of Special Baggage
✅ Requirements:
- All guests with sports equipment are required to purchase this add-on.
- The sports equipment will be part of the guest's checked baggage allowance.
- Its weight will not be pooled with Prepaid Baggage or Surfboard allowance.

✅ Accepted Sports Equipment:
- 🚲 Bicycles: Handlebars fixed sideways, pedals removed, and tires deflated, and packed in a hard-shell container, specifically designed for shipping, or in a bicycle suitcase.
- 🎣 Fishing Equipment: Retractable for transport, and packed in a hard-shell container, specifically designed for shipping.
- 🎳 Bowling Equipment: Up to two (2) bowling balls and one (1) pair of bowling shoes placed securely in a bowling bag.
- 🏌️♂️Golf clubs and Golf bag: Fully enclosed in a hard-shell container designed for shipping. Vinyl or canvas covers are not acceptable.
- 🤿 Scuba and/or Diving Equipment: Securely packed in an appropriate bag specifically designed for shipping.
- CEB does not accept scuba tanks for check-in.
- Underwater photography and videography gear may be hand carried if they fit in the overhead bins and meet the hand carry allowance.
- 🏂 Other Equipment: Snowboards and any other boards fall under the category of CEB Surfboards. Please purchase the CEB Surfboard Add-on instead.
✈️ General Guidelines:
- The CEB Sports Equipment add-on is exclusively available on the Cebu Pacific mobile app.
- Only one (1) sports equipment is allowed per guest, per sector.
- Maximum weight of each checked sports equipment piece is 20kg.
- Any excess in weight and pieces are subject to the Excess Baggage Fee and/or Extra Bag Fee.

The availability of CEB Sports Equipment add-on is limited per flight.
- A booking that includes this add-on may be rebooked up to two (2) hours before scheduled time of departure, subject to space availability.
- This add-on is non-refundable, non-reroutable, and cannot be stored in a Travel Fund unless the flight is disrupted.
- It is also non-transferrable and can only be used by the passenger for the specific flight and sector for which it is paid.
- Pooling of CEB Sports Equipment and other CEB Special Baggage is allowed as long as guests are on the same booking and check in their bags at the same time.
- This cannot be pooled with CEB Baggage.
- CEB Sports Equipment will only be accepted for carriage if properly packed in a case or any protective cover to prevent damage.
🌊 CEB Surfboard is a CEB Special Baggage add-on for guests traveling with surfboards.
The types of surfboards include:
- Wakeboards
- Paddleboards
- Other surfing equipment such as:
- Surfing leashes
- Tie down straps
- Car racks
- Surfing fins
✅ Requirements:
- All guests with surfboards must purchase this add-on.
- The surfboard will be part of your checked baggage allowance
- But its weight will not be pooled with the Prepaid Baggage or Sports Equipment Allowance.

✅ Accepted Surfboards:
- 🏊 Body boards: Must be properly packaged in a surfboard case or appropriately covered to prevent dents and scratches. Maximum length: 4ft.
- 🏄♂️ Surfboards/Wakeboards: Must be properly packaged in a surfboard case or appropriately covered to prevent dents and scratches. Maximum length: 6ft.
- 🌊 Long surfboards/Paddle boards/Stand-Up Paddleboards: Must be properly packaged in a surfboard case or appropriately covered to prevent dents and scratches. Maximum length: 9ft.

- A guest may only carry one surfboard per flight.

Each surfboard, including its case and equipment, should not weigh more than 20kg.

- The availability of CEB Surfboard add-on is limited per flight.

Each surfboard, including surfing equipment and case, must not exceed 9ft. for Airbus (5J) or jet flights and 6ft. for ATR (DG) or turbo-prop flights.
- A booking that includes the CEB Surfboard add-on may be rebooked up to two (2) hours before scheduled time of departure, subject to space availability.
- CEB Surfboard is non-refundable, non-reroutable, and cannot be stored in a Travel Fund unless the flight is disrupted.
- CEB Surfboard cannot be pooled with CEB Prepaid Baggage and CEB Sports Equipment.
- CEB Surfboard will only be accepted for carriage if properly packed in a case or any protective cover to prevent damage.
- 🎸 Musical instruments and religious items are allowed as your hand-carry if they're within the 56cm x 36cm x 23cm limit.
- This will count as part of your 7kg hand-carry allowance.
- If your items exceed these limits, please purchase an extra seat for your item at the airport.
- Or you can purchase the Musical Instrument allowance through CEB Special Baggage.
- If you're checking in musical instruments through CEB Special Baggage, please ensure they are placed in hardshell cases to prevent damage.
- Instruments placed in soft cases or gig bags will not be accepted for check-in.
💡 Take note!
- The availability of CEB Sports Equipment add-on is limited per flight.
- We accept check-in baggage larger than 99x99x99 cm, subject to evaluation.
- To avoid higher oversized fees at the airport, you can purchase Oversized allowance in advance! 📦
💡 Take note!
- The availability of CEB Oversized Baggage is limited per flight.
- If the item exceeds safe handling limits, you may be directed to use CEB Cargo instead.
We allow carriage of firearms as checked baggage to all domestic flights only, for a fee.
Guests bringing their personal firearms must take note of the following:
- Firearms must be separately packed and must not exceed 5kg.
- If the weight limit is exceeded, the items will be processed through our CEB Cargo service.
Please be ready to present the following documents at any time that it is required by authorities.

Valid Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of the Residence

Valid Permit to Transport Firearms and Ammunition (for firearms not covered by the former and for Gun Club Members)
Uniformed personnel and active members of law-enforcement agencies are exempted from paying the fee as long as they present a Valid Mission Order.

On the Add-ons page, tap 'CEB Special Baggage'.

💡 Carrying over / transferring of CEB Special Baggage Add-on
- You rebooked your flight;
- Your flight was changed by more than 1 hour;
- Your flight was cancelled, and you moved to a different flight.
