Firearms Handling Fee

🔫 The Firearms Handling Fee is a service fee charged to guests who intend to bring firearms via check-in.

💡 Reminders:

Guests are only allowed to bring firearms in domestic routes. This fee will be charged per sector and per guest.
The cost of this fee depends on the date of your booking and is based on regulatory guidelines.
- You may approach the airport counter to check the applicable fee for your flight.
This fee cannot be re-routed, refunded and cannot be stored in a Travel Fund.

📄 Requirements for bringing firearms and ammunitions in your checked baggage:

For active members of AFP/PNP/NBI and other law enforcement agencies Government issued firearms and ammunitions:	Valid service / agency ID Valid Memorandum Receipt / Acknowledgement Receipt Equipment Valid Mission Order/Letter Order
For owners of licensed firearm and gun club members:	Valid firearms license Valid ID (Driver’s license, Postal ID, Passport etc.) Valid Permit to carry firearms outside of the residence Valid Permit to transport firearms and ammunitions for firearms not covered by Permit to carry firearms outside of residence Permit to transport firearms and ammunition for gun club members
For Security Agencies / Company Guard	Valid ID (Driver's license, Postal ID, SAGSD ID) Valid firearm license Permit to transport firearms and ammunitions for security agencies and company guard force
Exemptions	Personnel from the following Philippine government agencies are exempt from the Firearms Fee: Philippine National Police (PNP) Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Presidential Security Group (PSG) Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Bureau of Immigration - Law Enforcement Division (BI-LED) Philippine Ports Authority - Port Policy Department (PPA-PPD) Land Transportation Office – Law Enforcement Service (LTO-LES) Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) BIR – Collection Enforcement Division (BIR-CED) BIR – Enforcement Service (BIR-ES) BIR – Large Taxpayers Collection and Enforcement Division (BIR-LTCED) Bureau of Customs – Enforcement Group (BOC-EG) Department of Trade and Industry – Consumer Welfare and Trade Regulation Group (DTI-CWTRG) Department of Environment and National Resource – Law Enforcement and Licenses Division (DENR-LELD) Other Philippine government agencies that are allowed by law to secure the use of firearms and/or security items to enforce their functions. Exemption will be subject to the following conditions: The exemption is valid for either one short or one long firearm (FA) at a time The exemption only applies to domestic travel The exemption is for the performance of official government functions The exemption is applicable upon the presentation of the following authenticated documents hereunder: Office Identification Card Firearm License Letter-Order/Mission-Order issued by the appropriate authority and containing there in the authorization to bring the subject firearm for enforcement purposes Acknowledgement receipt of equipment (ARE) Complete documents are needed for the exemption. Additional firearms brought shall be subject to applicable charges.

Infant Fee

Passenger Service Charge / Terminal Fee

The Passenger Service Charge, also known as the terminal fee, is a government tax charged to passengers traveling domestically or internationally from certain airports.

💡 Take note!

Starting April 1, 2026, terminal fees will be reduced in airports operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP):

International flights: from PHP 900 to PHP 700 per passenger.
Domestic flights: from PHP 350 to PHP 150-200 per passenger.
Principal Class 1 airports: from PHP 300 to PHP 150-200
Principal Class 2 airports: from PHP 200 to PHP 100
Community Airports: from PHP 100 to PHP 50
Whether you booked before or after the terminal fee reduction:
- The updated fee has automatically been included in your total booking amount.

This change is part of efforts to help mitigate the impact of increasing fuel prices.

Please be reminded that the following airports are NOT affected by this change:

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Manila)
Cebu-Mactan International Airport (Cebu)
Clark International Airport (Clark)
Laguindingan International Airport (Cagayan de Oro)
Bohol-Panglao International Airport (Bohol)
Lio Airport (El Nido)
Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (Boracay Caticlan)
Sanga-Sanga Airport (Tawi-Tawi)

✅ Passenger Service Charge exemptions

The following guests are exempted from paying the Passenger Service Charge.

Hub	Domestic	International
Cebu	Children below two (2) years old, with or without any airline ticket; Airline Crew	Children below two (2) years old, with or without any airline ticket; Overseas Contract Worker; Passenger denied entry; Airline Crew; Diplomats; Athletes which have been officially endorsed by the Philippine Sports Commission; Deportees; Muslim passengers traveling to MECCA on Haj; Any other person as may be specified by the Grantors in mutual agreement with the AGMCAC, or as may be specified by a legal requirement.
Clark	Infant with or without seat. Airline crew on duty (includes flight and extra crew) Passenger denied entry	Infant with or without seat. Airline crew on duty (includes flight and extra crew) Passenger denied entry Overseas Filipino Workers, upon presentation of the OEC Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) endorsed athletes Deportees Muslim pilgrims traveling to Mecca or Hajj with valid Hajj Visa. Government employees / Diplomats returning to work abroad with Flight Travel Order (FTO)
Manila	Children below two (2) years old, with or without any airline ticket; Airline Crew	Children below two (2) years old, with or without any airline ticket; Airline Crew; Overseas Contract Worker; Pilgrims; Philippine Sports Commission Delegates; Others authorized by law/ Office of the President; Medal of Valor Awardees
All other airports	Children below two (2) years old, with or without any airline ticket. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) for international flights only. Transit passengers. Passengers who are denied entry.

💡 For unused flights, a refund may be issued for the Passenger Service Charge. This cannot be converted to Travel Fund.
