Dubai Travel Guide - Dubai International Airport (DXB)

• Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry and has at least one blank page.
  • Passports that have had their validity extended will not be accepted. Only the expiry date printed on the main bio-data page is accepted.
• Beginning June 25, 2026, eligible Philippine passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival when traveling to Dubai, provided they have a valid resident visa, resident permits, or green cards from the United States, European Union member states, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, or New Zealand. A valid tourist visa from the listed countries is not included. Philippine passport holders who do not meet these criteria must obtain a visa before traveling. 
  
  • Visa-on-arrival options:

    • 14-day stay – AED 100 (Extendable once for another 14 days at AED 250)
    • 60-day stay – AED 250 (Non-extendable)

Take note:

• If you are an OFW returning to Dubai, you are not required to pay for the Philippine Travel Tax.

• 💡 Currently, Dubai does not require travelers to fill up a digital arrival card.
  • Please make sure to still check for any additional requirements that may be imposed by the local government.

Customs:

• All guests arriving at Dubai International Airport must pass through customs.
• Certain items, such as narcotics, may result in fines or imprisonment. If you are unsure about the goods you are bringing, please declare them upon arrival.

Philippine e-Travel Form: 

• Anyone entering the Philippines, including guests on layover flights, must register for the eTravel and Customs Declaration within 72 hours before their flight.
• eTravel declaration is free of charge and is mandatory for travel to the Philippines.

Check-in: 

• Arrive at the airport at least three (3) hours before your flight.
  • Our airport counters close one (1) hour before departure.
  • Digital boarding passes are accepted at Dubai International Airport.
• Check the display screens to find information about the counters for your flight.
• You may be charged a fee at the counters if your booking has an outstanding balance.
  • 10% of the unsettled amount for balances of 1,400 AED and above. For amounts below 1,400 AED, a fixed fee of 100 AED applies.

• Prepare your valid passport, booking confirmation or Itinerary Receipt, and visa (if applicable) for checking at the counters.

Communications: 

• At Dubai International Airport, communication with passengers is primarily done through flight information display screens (FIDS) and printed or digital signages.

• We also encourage passengers to monitor their email for important updates from Cebu Pacific.

Exiting the airport during flight disruptions: 

• You may only exit the airport if:
  • You are a resident of the United Arab Emirates
  • You have a visa on arrival
  • You have a multiple-entry visa
• You cannot exit the airport if:
  • You have a single-entry visa
  • Your visa is expired
• When exiting the airport with duty-free items:
  • Airport staff may need to check your receipt first and assess whether the items can be brought outside.

Affected passengers will be offered the following options:

• Free rebooking
• Travel Fund conversion
• Refund
