🏥Medical Cases
A medical case is when an illness is directly or indirectly preventing a passenger from traveling. Medical case requests can be made by:
- Passengers who are not medically fit to travel,
- Passengers who are traveling with another sick passenger who is an immediate family member
- Passenger who needs to care for a sick immediate family member who is not traveling
🕊️ Death or Bereavement Cases
A death case is when a booked passenger has passed away before their flight has taken place. Death case requests may be made by the deceased's immediate family member.
A bereavement case is when a booked passenger cannot travel due to the death of an immediate family member. Bereavement case requests may be made by the booked passenger.
⚠️ Important Reminders
- We understand that these situations can arise unexpectedly and may be difficult to manage. To allow us to assist you properly, requests for rebooking or cancelation due to medical, death, or bereavement reasons should be submitted at least two (2) hours before the scheduled departure time.
- To file a medical, death, or bereavement case request, you may chat with us on the Cebu Pacific website or app.
- If you booked your flight from a third-party agency and would like to rebook or cancel due to medical, death, or bereavement reasons:
- We can still assist with processing your case request and guide you on the available flexible options.
- However, please note that you must still coordinate directly with your travel agent to process and claim the refund once it is approved.
