Xiamen Travel Guide - Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN)

• Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry and has at least one blank page.
• Philippine passport holders must obtain a visa to visit Xiamen, China.

China Arrival Card

• Upon arrival in Xiamen, foreign citizens will be required to fill up the China Arrival Card.
  • This can be accomplished via electronic kiosks at the airport or in paper form issued by airport staff at the arrival area.

Customs:

• If you have any items to declare, you must fill in the “Baggage Declaration Form for Incoming/Outgoing Passengers” from China Customs and choose the "Declaration Channel" (also named "Red Channel") for Customs clearance.
• Declare if you're carrying:
  
  • Animals and plants (Including products made of animals and plants, microorganisms, biological products, human organs, blood products);
  • Items worth CNY 5,000 or more for personal use;
  • Items worth more than CNY 2,000 that a non-resident passenger intends to leave in China;
  • Alcohol (containing more than 12% alcohol) with a volume of more than 1,500 ml; more than 400 cigarettes; more than 100 cigars; more than 500g of cut tobacco;
  • More than CNY 20,000 in cash, or cash in a foreign currency which is equivalent to more than $5,000 USD;
  • Separately-transported baggage, goods, samples of goods, advertisements;
  • Any other items which are to be declared to Customs;
  • If animal or plant quarantine is necessary, please obtain a certification of approval.
• Please head straight to the "Nothing to declare" lane if you have no items of concern.

Philippine e-Travel Form: 

• Anyone entering the Philippines, including guests on layover flights, must register for the eTravel and Customs Declaration within 72 hours before their flight.
• eTravel declaration is free of charge and is mandatory for travel to the Philippines.

Check-in: 

• Arrive at the airport at least three (3) hours before your flight.
  • Our airport counters close one (1) hour before departure.
• Check the display screens to find information about the counters for your flight.
• Prepare your valid passport, booking confirmation or Itinerary Receipt, and visa (if applicable) for checking at the counters.
  • Chinese nationals may enter the Philippines visa-free for up to 14 days. For further details, click here.
• Proceed to check in your bags (if any). Make sure to keep in mind your booking's baggage allowance.

Customs & Boarding:

• Proceed to customs inspection. If you have items to declare, use the red lane, otherwise, please use the green lane.
• Check your printed boarding pass and the nearest display screen to find the boarding gate number.

• Please be on the lookout for any announcements being made at the airport.

• We also encourage passengers to monitor their email for important updates from Cebu Pacific.

Exiting the airport during flight disruptions: 

• If your flight is disrupted after immigration and customs clearance, you may be allowed to exit the airport if you have a valid visa.
• If your visa is expired, you are allowed to exit, but you may face a penalty of CNY 500 per day of stay.
  • Your visa will be renewed if the penalty exceeds CNY 5,000.
• Please be advised that any Duty-Free items must be refunded prior to exiting the airport.
