Macau Travel Guide - Macau International Airport (MFM)

• Make sure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months from your date of entry and has at least one (1) blank page.
• Philippine passport holders do not need a visa to enter Macau for stays up to 30 days.

Customs:

• Travelers may bring in personal items valued up to MOP 5,000 without needing to declare them, provided these items are not subject to consumption tax or pre-authorization.
• Use the Red Channel for declarations if you are carrying cash or monetary instruments exceeding MOP 120,000.
• Items such as alcohol, tobacco, medicines, and food products may be subject to restrictions. If you are unsure whether your items require declaration or not, it's best to use the Red Channel.

Philippine e-Travel Form: 

• Anyone entering the Philippines, including guests on layover flights, must register for the eTravel and Customs Declaration within 72 hours before their flight.
• eTravel declaration is free of charge and is mandatory for travel to the Philippines.

Check-In: 

• Our airport counters open 2 hours and 15 minutes before departure and close 1 hour prior to departure.
• Check the display screens to find information about the counters for your flight.
• Prepare your valid passport, booking confirmation or Itinerary Receipt, and visa (if applicable) for checking at the counters.
• Self-bag drop service is available at Macau International Airport. Make sure to keep in mind your booking's baggage allowance.

From January 20 to December 31, 2026, the Macao Government Tourism Office has partnered with HK Airport Direct to offer free shuttle bus rides from Hong Kong International Airport to Macau.
