General Guidelines
🥩 To transport meat products within the Philippines, please secure:

✅ A Certificate of Meat Inspection (COMI)

✅ A Meat Handler's License from the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS).

✅ A Local Shipping Permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry
🥩 To transport uncooked processed meat, please secure the following documents (if applicable):

✅ A certificate from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
-
✅ License to Operate (LTO)
-
✅ Certificate of Product Registration (CPR)
-
✅ A Local Shipping Permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry
💡 Take Note:

For shipment of meat products intended for home consumption and does not exceed 10kg:

The shipper may present an Official Receipt for the products as an alternative to the COMI.

Only meat products that are purchased from supermarkets and meat shops are allowed.

🥩 To transport meat products internationally:

Please reach out to an IATA-accredited freight forwarder.

These forwarders will help with the following:

Handle all necessary documentation

Coordinate every aspect of the shipping process

Serve as your primary point of contact for any queries regarding your shipment.
